Hometown Heroes: Help Us Support Local Teachers as They Head Back To School
It’s Back To School time and we at Green Scene Home Inspections are thinking about Dallas-Fort Worth teachers as they prepare for a new school year. We’d like to thank local teachers for their long hours, hard work and personal sacrifice, so this month we’re raising funds to support local classrooms on Adopt-A-Classroom.org.
Did you know that on average, teachers spend up to $500 of their own money each year on supplies for their classrooms? Talk to any teacher you know - school budgets are tight and teachers will frequently take the burden on themselves rather than see their students go without supplies or opportunities for learning. Adopt-A-Classroom.org helps teachers cover the gap between what the budget allows and the needs of their classrooms.
This August, we’ll be donating a percentage of each home inspection we do to local Adopt-a-Classroom projects.
